Precision alloys are metal alloys with special physical properties (magnetic, electric, thermal, elastic) or with a rare combination of physical, physicochemical and mechanical properties, the level of which is largely driven by precision of chemical composition, absence of contaminants, corresponding alloy structure.
Precision alloys can be divided into several groups, depending on their properties:
Alloys with high electrical resistance (NiChrome, FeCrAl)
Soft magnetic alloys
Hard magnetic alloys
Alloys with given TCLE
Alloys with given properties of elasticity
Alloys with defined electrical properties
Superconducting alloys
Thermostatic bimetals
